RACE 7
Very closely graded
Twelve raced at RD and nine of the dozen won at RD. Two entries never won any turf route: News At Ten and Fifth Street. This is a match race among Lottery Pick, eye on Ry and Smart Code with the latter as the place horse defeating the others last time out at RD, grass.
On the Whim top 2024 earner, he drops from his high horse in the stakes realm, where he won last time out at 1 1/16 miles on grass, he won his other turf route at one mile too, with Pereira in the irons, Pederson/Pereira $$$$ here
Smart Code he hit the board in all four trips at RD, winning once and placing twice, Glatt likes allowance level, and Rispoli rides again
Barely Funtional drops from his high horse in the stakes realm, where he floundered last time out, at 1 1/16 miles, but he did finish within three lengths of winner On the Whim, he hit the board in the majority of his routes, Gutierrez knows him so very well
RACE 8
Thirteen raced at RD and just six entries won at RD. Three entries never won any dirt sprint: Shamrockin, No Cap, Worthy of Magic.
This is a match race among four entries with Wishtheyallcouldbe winning comfortably at 6f.
Wishtheyallcouldbe she hit the board in all five trips at RD winning twice and placing three times, and she won at RD from the 11 post last September, Ellis excels in the claimer, more so his entry’s first claimer as here
Neezer Dalton hit the board in all three dirt sprints, winning two of them, last time out winning at RD quite comfortably with Aguilar in charge, Miyadi/Aguilar $$$$$ here
Baby Kristen she won a heady seven of eleven dirt sprints, just not at RD yet, pace got her last time out and I discounted that one, kimura rides again
RACE 9
The John C. Mabee
Grade II, one and one-eighth miles, turf chute ($250000)
Five raced at RD and two won at RD: Anisette and Didia. Two entries have won at graded stakes level: Uncorked and Didia. Lucky Girl has won at stakes level. This is a match race among four entries with Anisette winning last time out at 1 1/16 miles.
Didia the top 2024 earner won a heady eleven of sixteen turf races, all routes (tow of three at RD), four graded stakes wins, the six year old is relatively lightly raced, rested, and the elite Berrios takes over
Anisette the top 2023 earner own five turf route graded stakes, all wins coming with Rispoli aboard, winning both trips at RD (at Grade I level), Rispoli knows her well and Powell/Rispoli $$$$ here
Lucky Girl (IRE- County Cork) she has had no success in her two trips at RD, but she did win at one mile at stakes level last fall, she finished about a length behind Anisette last time out, note The Inimitable Mike Smith takes over
RACE 10
Nine raced at RD and four won at RD. Two entries never won any dirt sprint: All That Glory and Prince of Power (not sure about Fifty Cent Dollars).
Red Flag he hit the board in four of his last five sprints, winning two of them, and sported a stellar speed figure of “96” last time out ,with Rispoli in the irons, Mullins kills the dirt sprint, the six year old is lightly raced
Wendelssohn he won his sole trip at RD, and turns back 990 feet today, Ruis likes the dirt race, and Ruis/Gonzalez $$$$$+ here
Pilot Commander he turns back 330 feet, after placing last time out, and he won his debut at 6f with the elite Hernandez aboard who rides again, the Baffert entry worked four furlongs at 39 mph on the 31st
